Lunch at the exclusive Athenaeum in Liverpool

On Tuesday 21st June 2022, some members of Southport Unitarians had a lovely lunch at the exclusive Athenaeum in Liverpool. This is an annual event for the Southport Unitarians, it is a real treat for our members. After a wonderful lunch, the congregation was shown around the prestigious library that houses a wide collection of historical books. One of the founders of the Athenaeum was William Roscoe, the father of Liverpool Culture and importantly, a Unitarian. His painting stands in the newsroom.
